Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Istanbul
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel in Sultanahmet, a short walk from Hagia Sophia. The rest of the day is free to rest or take a first walk around the old city.

Day 2Istanbul's Old City: Hagia Sophia, Topkapı and the Grand Bazaar
A full day with your guide in Sultanahmet. Walk the Hippodrome, visit the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, then spend about two hours in Topkapı Palace, home of the Ottoman sultans, with the Harem. Finish in the covered lanes of the Grand Bazaar.

Day 3Spice Bazaar and a Bosphorus Cruise, Fly to Antalya
In the morning, walk through the Spice Bazaar, then cruise the Bosphorus on a private boat between Europe and Asia, past palaces and waterside mansions. In the afternoon, fly to Antalya. In the evening, walk the lanes of Kaleiçi down to the Roman harbor.

Day 4Perge and Aspendos
Visit Perge, a Roman city with a colonnaded street, baths and a stadium, then the theater of Aspendos, built in the 2nd century and still used for performances. Stop at the Kurşunlu waterfall on the way back.

Day 5Day Trip to Pamukkale and Hierapolis
Drive inland to Pamukkale, about 3.5 hours each way. Walk barefoot on the white travertine terraces and explore Hierapolis, with its theater and necropolis, before returning to Antalya in the evening.

Day 6Departure via Istanbul
After breakfast, your driver takes you to Antalya Airport. Fly to Istanbul and connect to your flight home. If you prefer to fly home directly from Antalya, tell us when you book.

Good to know
- The Pamukkale day trip is long: about 3.5 hours each way by road. Bring a towel and sunglasses for the travertines.
- Topkapı Palace closes on Tuesdays and the Grand Bazaar on Sundays; your guide adjusts the order of visits.
- Mosques require modest dress: shoulders and knees covered, and a headscarf for women.
- Bookings close 10 days before the start date. Reserve with a 30% deposit; cancellation is free up to 30 days before travel.

Is this tour private?
Yes. Only your party travels, with a guide and vehicle reserved for you. Prices are per person and decrease as your party grows; children 0 to 1 travel free.
Are entrance fees included?
Yes. Entrance fees to Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, Perge, Aspendos and Hierapolis-Pamukkale are included in the price.
Can I stay longer in Antalya?
Yes. Many travelers add two or three beach days at the end. Tell us when you book and we will add the hotel nights and move your flight.
Why a day trip to Pamukkale instead of a night there?
It keeps you in one hotel in Antalya for three nights. If you prefer a night in a thermal hotel in Pamukkale, we can change the plan; use the trip builder or ask us.
