Six of the nine tours link the regions with domestic flights, which is how a week is enough for Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale. The 11-day, 12-day via Troy and 14-day tours travel by road along the Aegean instead. That is slower, but it adds Gallipoli, Troy and Pergamon on the way.
On eight of the nine tours, entrance fees for the sites in the itinerary are included in the price. On 8-Day Turkey Tour: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus & Pamukkale you pay entrance fees on the day, and your guide gives you a current estimate before you travel.
Seven days is enough for Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale if you fly between regions. Expect full touring days with little free time. With 8 to 10 days you can add a free afternoon in Istanbul, a second night in Cappadocia or a slower day on the Aegean coast.
Most of our classic itineraries include one or more domestic flights, usually Istanbul to Cappadocia and a return to Istanbul from the coast. Each tour page lists exactly which flights are included.
The 6-Day Istanbul & Cappadocia tour, from $1,400 per person for two travelers. For all four headline regions, the 8-Day tour with Konya starts at $1,960 and the 7-Day Highlights tour at $2,100. Prices fall for larger parties.
With one week, the 7-Day Highlights tour covers Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale using three domestic flights. With twelve days, the 12-Day tour via Troy and Pergamon covers the complete classic route by road at a steadier pace, from $4,050 per person for two travelers.
Our 11-day tour visits Gallipoli and Troy before Ephesus, Pamukkale, Cappadocia and Istanbul. The 14-day Grand Tour of Turkey also passes through Çanakkale on the Dardanelles.
