How booking works
The same clear rules apply to every private tour. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you book until you land in Türkiye.
In short: choose your tour, date and group size, and pay a 30% deposit by card in US dollars. We confirm by email within 24 hours. The balance is charged 30 days before you travel, and you can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before your start date.
1. Choose your tour, date and group size
Every tour page shows the price per person in US dollars (USD) for 1 to 6+ travelers, a day-by-day itinerary, and what is and is not included. Online booking closes 10 days before the start date so we can confirm hotels, flights and your guide. For later dates, contact us.
2. Pay a 30% deposit
You pay 30% of the total by card. The remaining 70% is charged automatically to the same card 30 days before you travel, and we email you a reminder 7 days before that charge. If you book 30 days or less before travel, the full amount is due at booking.
3. Receive your confirmation
Within 24 hours (Türkiye time) you receive a written confirmation by email with your booking reference, itinerary, travelers' names, the amount paid and the balance date. Please check that names match passports.

Your tour is delivered in person in Türkiye. Nothing is shipped; all documents are sent by email.

- Card payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
- Our website is protected with HTTPS encryption.
- All prices and charges are in US dollars (USD). We do not add card fees. Your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee, because payments are processed outside the United States.
- The charge appears on your statement as TURKEY ITINERARIES.
Cancellation and refunds

Refunds go back to your card within 10 business days. Date changes are free up to 30 days before travel, subject to availability. If we ever have to cancel, you choose a full refund or a travel credit valid for 24 months. Full details: Cancellation policy and Booking terms.
Before you travel
- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip. US citizens currently need no visa for stays of up to 90 days: see our visa guide.
- Travel insurance is not included; we strongly recommend it.

Who you are booking with
Your booking and payment are handled by Travelpedia Travel Ltd, our London office (England and Wales, company no. 17299925), and your tour is organized and operated in Türkiye by Travelpedia DMC Turizm, a Group A travel agency licensed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and a member of TÜRSAB (license no. 10807), operating since 2018. How much deposit do I pay to book a private tour?

Can I cancel my tour for free?

How late can I book a tour online?

When do I get my booking confirmation?
